Also watched the video about the Panzergrenadiere (Mechanízed Infantry) on this channel. A huge portion of what is said there, still holds true today. Astonishing really, thinking that 70+ years passed since then.

Und die Stukas waren die einzigen die senkrecht im Sturzangriff angreifen konnten. Die Messerschmitt 109 war 1939 der langsamste Jäger weltweit. Sie haben ja überhaupt keine Ahnung von der damaligen Technik. Nur in der Menge stand diese Technik nicht zur Verfügung, da gebe ich ihnen recht.

Dieter Rahm prieš 5 dienas @Emaus Der Ratsuchende Wenn es mit der Qualität bei der Wehrmacht so schlecht gestanden hat. Warum sahen denn die Abschußzahlen so schlecht für die Alliierten aus? Die deutschen Flugmotoren hatten schon zu Beginn Einspritzpumpen. Da sind die anderen noch mit Vergasern geflogen. Und die Deutschen hatten nur Benzin mit niedriger Oktanzahl. Noch dazu durften in ihren Antrieben nur wenig Buntmetall verarbeitet werden. Und du willst echt behaupten das ein Sherman 1944 besser war als z.B. ein Panther? Wie stand da die Abschußrate?

Emaus Der Ratsuchende prieš 5 dienas @Dieter Rahm Zu Beginn des Krieges war die Panzerwaffe der Wehrmacht keineswegs die aktuelleste, sie waren unterbewaffnet, die Motoren hatten zu wenig Leistung, die Stahlligierungen fehlerhaft. Im Verlauf des Krieges wurden zwar entscheidende Verbesserungen auf den Weg gebracht, aber hier gab es das Problem der Rohstoffe.... Der Erfolg der Panzerwaffe war ausschließlich ein Verdienst der Kommandeure und eine völlige Dessorganisation des Gegners. Die Stukas waren laut Aussagen von Piloten ebenfalls zu schwach was dazu führte das das Hochziehen der Maschine zu lange dauerte und ein Bodenbeschuss zu hohen Verlusten führte. Die 109 war in der Tat eine sehr gute Maschine, aber auch hier kam es wegen Motorschäden zu vielen Ausfällen,die Motoren reagierten sehr sensibel auf unsauberen Sprit/ Oktanzahlen.... Natürlich waren zb Tiger I/II...Königstiger ect spektakuläre Fahrzeuge, aber im Einsatz häufig unbrauchbar. Ab 44 waren vor allem die Amerikaner an Wehrtechnik uneinholbar,von der Menge mal abgesehen....

Then the ww1 was over,allied forgot it. Russians and Germans ,later Soviets kept on it as usual. And Soviet - German collaboration in the 20s and 30s regarding sniping and Zeiss optic factory built in Russia led the way. Then ww2 over ,many kept on it ,especially the US Marines and Brits of allies. Soviets developed it further .

The sniper in the video tells me that there is a strange bush few meters in front of him and i am staring at my screen for minutes trying to identify any bush at all let alone a strange one. Damn SD resolution

What better way to know how the enemy was trained and their tactics than to watch them and say, oh yeah you know that's a great idea, I think we should do that too. That's been going on forever.

God knows what the Germans would do in the ww 3 if they came to their senses again..(It is America and Russia that stole German knowledge and technology. They didn’t almost single handily defeat the entire world by not practicing these very ideals. You gotta understand the entire German army only consisted of 13.6 million soldiers. America had 16 million. The Soviets 21 million. Great Britain 6 million. France 3.5 million. China 14 million. Needless to say the Germans were outnumbered yet they still maintained superiority in most engagements. Especially in the sky’s with their air force. It wasn’t till the end of the war when supplies were low that the Germans lost their superiority.
