The world's weirdest creatures

Free High-Quality Documentaries 775 tūkst. prenumeratorių Nature has many weird creatures to offer and often these animals fascinate us the most. There are ants in Australia's outback that use specialised workers as living honey pots. In Africa in the endless Bangweulu wetlands of Zambia the shoebill is on the hunt for fish, a bird that definitely lives up to its name. Finally in the Brazilian rainforests lurk gruesome river monsters in the Amazon abyss that send shivers down the spine of even the most experienced divers. But there are also intense human-animal-relationships like the close bond between a German diver and a dolphin female who explore the Atlantic off the coast of Ireland, or the "easy rider" in California who has taken care of an African elephant bull for more than 25 years. Weird! is a breath-taking journey to visit animals around the globe who are somehow different.

The Duckling Homestead and Gardens prieš 10 mėnesių The man/easy rider and Timba is a perfect example of how we should ALL treat ALL animals....with love, care, kindness and respect, as well as an understanding of personalities of species as well as individuals!!!! The next animals shown, i.e. the wild boars in Berlin is basically a show of cautious respect, but the fear associated with wild boars, the same as it is with powerful wild animals is a little too much! Sure one should be cautious, but if people would use the same respect the expect from other people as well as any domesticated animal, with all wildlife there would be much less issues. Sure there will always be issues, especially with predators, but if one gives each animal it's required safe zone, personal space, as well as displaying calmness and slow movements and less noise, the animals would be much less likely to attack. Most attacks actually occur because the animal feels threatened! So long as any animal has a good supply of food, and they are carnivores/omnivores, human and/or pet attacks would not or very rarely happen, if previous fear attacks were eliminated as well. Wild boars are very much avoided for fear of attacks, but there is even evidence that does not have to be so with wild boars as well as many other studied in the wild species. The same can be established with all wild animals in the wild by simply presenting people as not harmful and/or providing food sources. Jane Goodall and the gorillas she studied is an example. There was a wild boar in Africa that lived near a village who would lay between a y intersection in the road and people would feed him when they passed. He only rarely came into the village when other food sources were scarce, and help himself to small helpings from personal gardens but he never decimated any garden and he came late in the evening or early mornings when most were inside. He literally caught 3 women stealing from gardens and corralled them in a specific area within the village until morning and would not let them leave until someone awoke and came outside and asked what the women were doing. Upon their confession the boar left the village and went back to his intersection which was also near his den. He lived near the village in peace for many years/decades before finally passing. The villagers buried him there at the intersection and placed a large stone over him to mark and commemorate his life and resting place!!!!!
