Iam not here because of nerd forge and I still have to say: The chest looks like a 'League of Legends' Item xD Anyway, I enjoyed that christmas special from my favorite channel. The movie somehow felt like a teaser for a new serial or bigger production that tells everything that happened after his second teleportation :D The best idea in my opinion was to make the exposition with his grandfather and the leaving girl, because it added so much emotion to the whole thing. Acting was very convincing, especially from Odin! In fact, I loved the whole exposition a lot, the party scene was very cute, and then I got a bit disappointed in the middle. But the unusual and really "fairy-tale-like" story twist with the girl brought me back and during the credits I was satisfied again. If my opinion has any value to you, there it is: Well done, be proud and never stop producing those beauties

Great work of all! I love sooo many choices that went into this. I myself am not big fan of the day-for-night shooting but thats what it is. I really enjoyed what you guys did with the music/composing. I myself wouldn't have changed to lyric-songs at the end but I understand how that comes to be. So much great collaboration that happened as well as all the editing work, impressive!

That was amazing, I am a follower of Nerdforge and saw the video for the chest and came over here. As I watched in my head I yelled THATS MARTINAS STAFF AND NECKLACE! So awesome to see more than just her chest in the film. IT left me wanting to know the next chapter of Emils fairytale. I do hope you guys are able to continue this. For my first indie film, this was amazing.

With a low budget and a frequently small crew, this is actually well done and put together!! It definitely could be better if you’ve got more time to work on it story wise (specially for the villains, maybe a bit more introduction and screen time just to know more about them) and probably you could have recorded the arrow scene in different way because it was a bit unconvincing specially the acting when it hit the protagonist and the lack of blood after the hit. However, overall it’s actually so good for what you have and it’s actually quite impressive tbh, keep it up and looking forward for your next film

For a 0 budget youtube test film this was amazing. Great acting, engrossing story, awesome special effects. Im not a fan of subtitles they always seem to break my immersion as i dont speak Norwegian, and subtitles were a must, this wasn't the case here. No detraction from the film at all, its an attestment to the creaters ability to capture the audience. Keep up the good work, had to sub so i dont miss future projects. Want to thank Nerdforge for the introduction to andyax. Great chest Great film.

Really damn good film. Respect for accomplishing such a masterwork on a low budget! The end really made me cry because the story was arranged so well. Just really good work by everyone who worked on this shot Film!! I hope you get the attention and honor you all deserve for it!

Wow this was a great short film. There was so much going on; drama, love, and scope all in just under an hour. I'm a huge fan of this channel and what you guys do. The massive time and energy that went into making this film definitely doesn't go unnoticed. Each person involved in this project played their part well and deserves all the right recognition. To do a genre film, especially fantasy, is a daunting task to undertake for any filmmaker for any number of reason. However, Anders held his own and created something very enthralling with astonishing production value. This is a ten out of ten for me!

Listening to this wonderful language, I have to wonder, how well could a German and a Norwegian communicate? How close is German to the Nordic languages? They sound so similar to the untrained ear, quite honestly I wouldn't be able to tell unless you put the two on paper lol. I'm only two minutes in and I already know I'm going to love it!

I watched the whole journey that you Andyax, together with Thomas and the whole team of Vjus went on to produce this masterpiece, because it is a masterpiece on a very low budget. Now I understand very well what you meant when you said that the actors were spectacular and that there was a unique connection between Emil and Nina. I didn't breathe a word throughout the whole film. I've been following you for about 5 years now and you taught me a lot about video making back in the day. To see this result in one week of shooting is really impressive and your perseverance over the years has always paid off. Chapeau.

Really like a lot of this highly performed zero budget production. Very lucky last minute cast (Emilie Sophie)!!! Amazing locations, good lighting, good story (only question: Why did the Barbarian wizard bewitch her? Jealous?), really good acting and directing, nice set design (Maybe the chest is a little bit overdone. Though it`s a magic chest, I`ld prefer a really old damaged look), great epic music Thomas (except the heartache song in the end). I bow my head for you guys.

That was surprisingly very professional. The actor playing Emil was strongly believable from the very beginning. My Norwegian is very poor; even though it's home, so I had to use subtitles. But it flowed so nicely that I barely realized I was reading them while watching it. Of course an Epic location but also the score was perfect and not overdone. I could have watched a lot more. But sometimes short films are just. ..Perfect, like this one. I'm also here from Nerdforge but I plan to link this in the forums. Congrats. ..I look forward to future endeavors.
