#lionheartfilmworks #uspresidents #presidentialhistory "Lincoln's Last Night" - Complete 2-Part 2009 Lincoln/Booth Film

LionHeart FilmWorks 275 tūkst. prenumeratorių Abraham Lincoln is the embodiment of the 'American Dream.' His vision of a free America united in peace and the abolishment of slavery made him an icon and a legend. Lincoln's ideas resulted in many casualties during the Civil War and eventually put him in the line of fire himself. This two-part docu-drama (presented here as one complete film) tells the fascinating story of Abraham Lincoln and his murderer John Wilkes Booth. The assassin who planned the murder of the President like a Shakespearian plot. Lincoln is portrayed by Fritz Klein and Booth by Brian J. Merrick. "Lincoln's Last Night" was shot at spectacular locations across the United States. A cast of more than 80 historical actors creates an authentic image of Lincoln's America. The Presidential office in the White House was staged at Centre Hill Mansion in Petersburg, Virginia. The Ford's Theater box reconstruction was one of many locations around Richmond, Virginia used extensively - with further scenes filmed at the historic Strasburg, Pennsylvania Railroad, and at the original and recently restored summer residence of the Lincoln Family in rural D.C. LionHeart FilmWorks provided the costumes, actors, sets, props and all of the historical details to bring this story to life. #lionheartfilmworks #uspresidents #presidentialhistory

Support your Troops & Athletes prieš 1 mėnesį @Scott Rhineer .. I still disagree as most loved him across the country, north and south. It was plantation owners and such that hated him and unfortunately that no matter how the country changed. That hatred still stems today. I am not sure about your family but I had soldiers on both the Confederate and union side die for their own cause. I am not for how the Confederate cause was by any means and like Lincoln honoring soldiers on both sides upon their deaths as mentioned in the video, I still practice that today putting flags on their graves whom they represented at the cemeteries. I fly both flags on memorial day also. It is a sad time of the countries past that should of never occurred if people looked more into humanity and not profit. But most people non buisness owners in the south loved lincoln and actually many soldiers got along and traded supplies in the field behind their commanding officers back. What saddens me is all the children who lied about their ages to get away from the boredom at home only to be led to their deaths. I think the youngest Confederate soldier was only 12 and I seen his grave on a old logging road in a abandoned cemetery this past year. The union had 12 and 13 year olds joining such as Jesse James and brother frank who later switched over fighting for the union . How did the commanding officers not know a 12 or 13 old child from a adult is beyond my thoughts, I have no clue but it occured.
