He taught me what big band music was all about and to this day - Frank, Dean, Sammy and the crew still live in my heart. All are Under My Skin - I took up the clarinet and the tenor sax because I was desperate to be able to play the tunes. I did too, right through university jazz gigs all over Canada and pit bands for all the hopelessly romantic musicals we put on for audiences even younger than we were. The music is timeless and forever loved. I still love to play today at the ripe old age of 65. Such fun!!! Thank you Music Channel - I just stumbled onto you - COVID isolation be darned.
